Morning Drone Flight

Each time this class meets we will start with our Pre-Flight meeting to go over safety and procedures for safe flying. Following that meeting we will FLY, we have space in the gym for flight and hope to hone skills for outdoor flight by the last week. After batteries have all been drained from flight we will regroup in a classroom to discuss the day’s flight. Topics will cover better flying techniques, unintended consequences (flying into various things), FAA registration and laws, and ultimately setting up a FAA Flight plan that allows you to fly legally in restricted airspace.

Students are allowed to bring their own drones at their own risk. Parental approval is needed and you must contact the instructor prior to bringing your drone into school. This is an introductory class to drone flight.
