We offer a non-competitive youth program to introduce running to young athletes in a safe and fun environment.  The focus is on self-improvement, being an encouraging teammate, and making new friends.  The Fall Cross Country Series is a six-week school program led by Bob Dodd and is open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade.  Please remember to purchase a (Yellow) team race shirt if this is your first season running.

Practices are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 3-4:30pm at Manitou Springs Elementary School. Our first practice will be Sept 4, 2019. Practices consist of running games and track workouts with a strong focus on fun.

Races are held at Bear Creek Park at 1pm on Sundays, September 22, 29 and October 6.
At the races, runners receive a race tag with their number, ribbons, a series medal at the final race, and refreshments.  Race results are posted on our website.

Registration opens August 5, 2019

Runners must be registered prior to their first practice.
Please register online at
